May 28, 2026: Thrilled to have a new paper published in Humanities and Social Sciences Communications titled Unveiling stylometric signatures in translated children’s literature: Peter Pan in Chinese! 🎉 A great collaboration with He Ting (Southeast University) and Li Baohu (Nanjing Normal University). The paper employs a stylometric approach to examine linguistic discrepancies and stylistic features across three Chinese translations of Peter Pan, identifying the most discriminative lexical and N-gram features that differentiate the translators’ styles — offering empirical grounding for child-oriented stylistic markers in literary translation research.

April 2026: The EAMT 2026 conference will be held in Tilburg, Netherlands. And I am glad to be the Reviewer in Technical track of the conference!
September 5–7, 2025: Will be presenting at the 23rd FIT World Congress in Geneva, Switzerland. Looking forward to sharing my research and engaging in discussions with fellow translation scholars!
August 20, 2025: Thrilled to become a reviewer for New Voices in Translation Studies 🎆🎇✨ — my very first paper review in my academic career! 🎆
July 3, 2025: Attended the EST Conference at the University of Leeds, UK. Presented in Panel 21 on “A Stylometric Investigation on Retranslation Frenzy in China: Human Translations vs. Machine Translations”. A fantastic conference with over 700 participants — really enjoyed the experience!

June 22–28, 2025: Attended Machine Translation Summit 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland — a week of presenting, socializing, and yes, a bit of sightseeing too.
June 2025: Participated in the 2025 Milan Summer School in Computational Linguistics. Presented my current work at the student session — a great chance to share ideas with international peers.
May 2025: Presented a poster at NITS 2025, showcasing our findings on Machine Translationese. Enjoyed lively discussions and fresh perspectives.
May 2025: Gave a talk at ICTIC 5, titled “A Stylometric Investigation on Retranslation Frenzy in China: Human Translations vs. Machine Translations”. A wonderful opportunity to connect with translation scholars.

November 2024: Took part in the LW Research Day Poster Session at Ghent University — and presented my very first academic poster (with a dash of visual ambition)!
- October 2024: Began my PhD stay at Ghent University, under the supervision of Prof. Lieve Macken. Excited for this chapter of collaborative research and Belgian fries.
