I am Delu (Daniel) Kong, a Lecturer at the Faculty of Arts, Shanghai University of Electric Power. I earned my joint Ph.D. from Tongji University and Ghent University, Belgium.

My research explores the intersection of machine-learning-enhanced translation and linguistics, with a focus on machine translation post-editing, computational stylistics (stylometry), corpus-based translation studies, and digital humanities. I use Python and R for data-driven linguistic analysis, text mining, and machine learning.

I teach courses including AI Translation and Post-editing, and Localization, and so on (whatever assigned to me). My academic work has appeared in journals such as Humanities and Social Sciences Communications, Foreign Languages Bimonthly (CN), Translation Studies and Teaching (CN), and Digital Humanities Research (CN).
